Made in Plymouth, UK, in small production runs by a single manufacturer we work with directly.
What fabric are they made from?
70% SEAQUAL yarn produced from plastic waste recovered from our oceans and beaches, and 30% rPET from recycled plastic bottles. Every fibre is recycled. None from virgin petroleum.
Are they suitable for swimming?
Yes. They are designed as everyday swim shorts for sea, pool, and everything in between. Quick drying, lightweight, and built to handle salt water, chlorine, and sun exposure without degrading.
Why do they cost more than supermarket swim shorts?
Because they are made in Britain in smaller quantities using certified recycled ocean plastic rather than cheap virgin polyester. The fabric costs more. The manufacturing costs more. The price reflects that honestly.
How long will they last?
A pair bought this summer should still be worth packing next summer and the one after that. The SEAQUAL fabric improves with wear rather than degrading.
