Description
Handcrafted from Andean Opal, this bracelet features the stone's distinctive colour range, soft blues, greens, and pinks that vary from bead to bead depending on where in the deposit the stone was formed. Cut into 10mm cubes rather than round beads, the flat faces show the colour and natural variation more directly.
Andean Opal is sourced from the Andes Mountains of Peru and Chile, where volcanic and hydrothermal activity creates the silica-rich conditions the stone forms in. It's one of the few opals with consistent colour rather than the play of light associated with precious opal, what you see is the stone itself, not a surface effect.
Traditionally associated with creativity, emotional balance, and calm clarity, a stone with a strong sense of place behind it.
Strung on thick natural rubber blended with organic cotton cord, finished with a 925 Sterling silver tag. UK made, built for daily wear.
